Dr. Baimas-George was featured in the Alagille Syndrome Alliance’s magazine to talk about her books and her writing process. Alagille Syndrome is an inherited condition that can cause the liver to have too few or misshapen bile ducts.  This leads to bile build up in the liver, causing liver damage.  A liver transplant is sometimes needed.
